Subtle Creativity Renewal By Andersen® Hardware Finishes

Attention to detail is what separates a high-class product from the rest. It’s where the manufacturer can display their level of care and where the homeowner can showcase their eye for subtle design considerations. After all, it’s all in the details, even when it’s something as simple as operating a window. In this article, Renewal by Andersen® of New Jersey-New York Metro discusses our window’s hardware finishes.

Our Hardware Finish Selection

Our Estate™ hardware collection comes in eight distinct finishes. Choose from Bright Brass, Distressed Bronze, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, Distressed Nickel, Antique Brass, Satin Nickel, and Oil Rubbed Bronze for your New Jersey windows. Estate hardware can withstand the test of time and see heavy use because skilled craftsmen forged them from solid brass. In addition, these hardware finishes work very well with our 47 different interior/exterior window finish and color combinations.

Choose from two different styles when you select Estate hardware. The bronze hardware has a living finish that grows more beautiful as the window ages. Since no two aging processes are exactly alike, your window hardware will be unique.

On the other hand, the brass, chrome, and nickel finish have a special coating that seals the finish. Your hardware will look as new as the day you bought them. If you prefer colors that are more traditional for your hardware, we also offer the standard finishes of white, stone, and canvas.

Using Our Hardware Finishes

We’ve seen many different styles as the leading expert on windows and doors in New Jersey, so here are a few ideas to help get you started. Consider using your window hardware as a bold accent. Let’s say your casement window has a dark Terratone interior. Use a Bright Brass hardware finish to draw the eyes and make the window more interesting.

Your hardware finish is an unobtrusive detail that you can use to reinforce the different atmosphere of your rooms. Use polished chrome for the bedroom, distressed nickel for the kitchen, and oil rubbed bronze for the living room for instance. This makes every room and window feel different without being too loud.

The right kind of hardware finish will enhance the beauty of your window. Matching the finish to your interior décor unifies your room’s design and makes it more pleasing to the eye. This focus on details extends to the rest of our window’s elements.

We’ve geared every aspect of our windows towards making your home better, from the durable Fibrex® frames to the energy-efficient High Performance™ Low E4® glass to the wide variety of our colors. Give us a call to learn more about our windows or to get a free in-home consultation.
