    Planning a window replacement project isn’t just about choosing the color palette, the materials, and the installation dates. Logistics, which, in this case, involves coordinating with the contractor, is an equally important element.

    When will the installation dates be?

    Picking the installation date is not as easy as picking a free weekend on your calendar. While our window installations typically take just a day, you have to account for the entire household’s schedule. Also, the installation team will need indoor access to every room where the windows will be installed. For example, if a nursery or home office is among these rooms, make prior arrangements for a relative to take care of the baby for a day or two or reserve temporary office space on the installation date, respectively.

    How big will the installation team be?

    The number of installers depends on the size of the window replacement project. Nevertheless, you should know how many installers there will be. You may need to ask a neighbor if the truck can be parked across the street if you have limited parking space.     Which areas will you need to work in?
