This year Renewal by Andersen stepped in as title sponsor for the Enquirer’s Exceptional Women of the Year for 2015 luncheon based out of Cincinnati. With 750 attendees, Steve Davidson, owner of Renewal by Andersen, delivered a speech honoring 10 exceptional women and two emerging young women who have made an impact in their community. For the first time in 48 years, the event recognized two outstanding young women with the Enquirer Emerging Young Woman Award.

Along with Renewal by Andersen’s support, the Cincinnati Ballet and Joseph Auto.com joined in to support the event.

From raging a battle against Alzheimer’s Disease to a mom losing her son to a drug overdose, every single one of these women have turned heartache into hope. Hope for others that they may never know what it is like to lose a child to heroin or a spouse to Alzheimer’s; hope for others so they know they are not alone in this world with their struggles.

Davidson was so moved by one of the women’s cause that he has asked how he can become more involved in her mission. Patti Hogan began a youth program that pays young people to work on keeping their part of the community in Price Hill. This program also teaches life skills such as money management.

Thank you Afreen Asif, Debbie Brant, Patti Hogan, Crystal Kendrick, Paula Kollstedt, Sharon Mitchell, Anne McGraw, Julie Poston, Rosann Sharon, and Charlotte Wethington for all you do and give to this community. Thank you Amy and Emma Bushman for showing young girls the power of serving people. Our lives are better because of all of you!
