“A window—it’s more entertaining than TV. Just ask a cat looking out, or a man looking in on a life he desires.” ~Jarod Kintz, This Book is Not FOR SALE.
Windows hold an incredible connection to metaphor and poetry, but even when speaking literally, windows let in light. Windows allow us to experience a piece of the world in a way that we might not otherwise be able to. Windows let in air, and more specifically they let in a breeze (hopefully these windows have screens, or they would also let in bugs and rodents.)
We suggest looking out of every window possible. Also, we suggest looking into every window possible. Even the eyes of your loved ones. “Eyes are the windows to the soul.” Anyone?
It’s called window shopping for a reason.
Windows are beloved pieces of architecture.
Windows are also one of the best home improvements you can make since the return on investment is incredibly high. Not only is the monetary return on investment something to consider, but the visual return on investment.
Windows are beautiful. Now, we know that we’re getting back into that poetry stuff, but clearly speaking, we invite you to take a good look at all the windows you can. Browse our website. Browse design blogs. Look at your own home.
At Renewal by Andersen of Greater Michigan, you may have heard that we put the WOW in Windows. We hope that you will take some time to really consider the benefits of replacement windows, and contact us with any questions, comments, or in order to schedule a free window consultation.
