    Here are a few quick and easy solutions that under $10:

    • Rope Caulk
      This soft, sticky caulk can easily be molded to fill in any gaps. It can also be removed later on if you want a more permanent fix.
    • V-Seal Weatherstripping
      Plastic weatherstripping that can be installed along the sides of sashes. It allows windows to open and close even with the V-seal in place.
    • Clear Nail Polish
      If there’s a lady around the house, then you probably already have this in your home. If carefully applied, clear nail polish can easily fill the cracks around your windows almost invisibly.
    • Shrink Film
      This clear plastic sheeting can be applied directly to tiny gaps around your windows. It can then be heated with a hairdryer to shrink it in place. Later, it can easily be removed by using rubbing alcohol.
