    Combination windows can be configured two ways: by mulling them or making them part of a bay window. Mulled windows are multiple windows of the same height, installed flat along the wall. Windows of the same style are typically used in a mulled window, but different styles can be combined. Bay windows, on the other hand, are projection windows, which mean they protrude from the wall.
